Introduction
We built this sunroom heater to be a compact powerhouse. It’s all about delivering focused, intense heat exactly where you need it—especially when space is tight and the weather keeps changing. The heart of it is a shortwave halogen element, tucked inside a quartz tube. It warms up fast and keeps the heat steady, no fuss, no waiting around.
The Tech, Straight Up
This thing runs on 400V and pumps out 2500W. That means serious heat from a small package. At just 300mm long, it zeroes in on a narrow zone, so you’re warming the spot you want, not the whole room. The 400V setup is also a smart move. It pulls less current than lower-voltage options, so wiring stays simple and you don’t get that annoying voltage drop over longer runs.
What It’s Made Of
That halogen element sits inside a quartz tube with a special coating. It does two important jobs: keeps the UV in check and keeps the output stable. And the R7s connector? It’s a solid, go-to choice for high-temp quartz lamps. Installation is straightforward—just wire it up and you’re done. It stays tight and secure, even when things heat up and cool down, without any wiggle or spark.
Why It Works for Sunrooms
If you’ve got a sunroom or a similar space, you know you need heat that kicks in immediately and stays consistent. This lamp nails that. It hits the target temperature quickly, and because it’s so compact, it slips right into existing fixtures with no hassle. Now, a heads-up: at 2500W, it does need proper ventilation and the right mounting distance. Make sure you plan your airflow and clearances ahead of time to keep everything running safely and smoothly.
