Technical Deep-Dive
We went with 400V because that’s what most industrial spaces already have. It keeps the current down, which means you don’t need to run heavy, bulky wire. And that 2500W packed into a 300mm tube? That’s a lot of heat in a small footprint. It creates a tight, powerful hot zone—perfect for spot heating. It warms up quickly, which is great, but it also means the fixture and the wiring around it feel the heat. So plan your mounting clearances, and make sure there’s room for the unit to breathe.
Material & Design
Halogen technology keeps the filament running hotter. That means more infrared output, and it stays steady over the life of the tube. The quartz envelope has a special coating. It helps control UV and can handle the shock of turning on and off fast, over and over. The R7s connector makes wiring in the field simple. Slide the tube in, lock the contacts, and you’re done. It’s built to hold steady, even when things are shaking and the temperature is swinging wildly.
